Custom code blocks for Squarespace

Features Squarespace doesn't offer, added to the site you already have. Each block is built for your site, styled to match it, and contained so it can't break anything else on the page.

Some blocks use JavaScript, which Squarespace only runs on the Core plan and higher. Blocks built with HTML and CSS alone work on every plan. Each block below lists what it needs.

Auto-updating cards and lists

A better summary block. Publish a new post, episode, or menu item in Squarespace and the cards or list update on their own, styled to match your site instead of the default layout.

Good for: blog posts, podcast episodes, featured menu items, upcoming events, new products, team profiles Plan: Needs Squarespace Core or higher Ask about this block

Cards with pop-up details

Keep the page short and let visitors open what interests them. Each card opens a window with the full details: a bio, credentials, and profile links for your team, or the story behind a dish or event.

Good for: team and provider bios, featured menu items, upcoming events, services, case studies, FAQs with long answers Plan: Needs Squarespace Core or higher Ask about this block

Floating action button

A small button that stays in the corner of every page and opens something useful: this month's offers, a podcast player that keeps playing as visitors browse, or one-tap ways to call, text, or book.

Good for: limited-time offers, podcast or audio players, quick contact and directions, booking shortcuts, newsletter signups, holiday hours and announcements Plan: Needs Squarespace Core or higher Ask about this block

Feature cards

One card that holds the most important details in a section, laid out the way Squarespace's built-in blocks can't: a pricing panel, a latest-episode card, or hours and location with directions.

Good for: pricing and packages, hours and location, a featured podcast episode, event details, service summaries, contact panels Plan: Works on any plan Ask about this block

Media hub

Videos, podcast appearances, articles, and awards in one place, sorted into tabs. One featured item leads, and visitors can switch to anything else without leaving the page.

Good for: press and media pages, awards, interviews and talks, podcast appearances, event recaps, speaker pages Plan: Needs Squarespace Core or higher Ask about this block

Guided booking

A few simple questions that send each visitor to the right place: the right provider, location, booking page, or form. The options can come from a Squarespace collection, so adding a new provider or location is a new post, not a code change.

Good for: multi-location practices, salons choosing a service and stylist, restaurant visits and private events, quote requests, "which service is right for me" finders, routing donors, volunteers, and people seeking help Plan: Needs Squarespace Core or higher Ask about this block
